Mission Statement

The mission of the Los Angeles Maryvale Guild (formerly The Los Angeles Orphanage Guild) is to provide the children and families placed in Maryvale’s care a safe, supportive, therapeutic, and compassionate environment in which to grow and heal. The purpose of the guild is to raise funds to provide financial and other support to Maryvale in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Maryvale Guild (formerly The Los Angeles Orphanage Guild) is a charitable organization of women dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Maryvale, Los Angeles’ oldest charity and one of Southern California’s most trusted and longest-running providers of services for the underserved.

Currently, the LAMG is supporting the Seton House program at Maryvale, a sixth month wrap-around initiative for unhoused mothers and their children. Seton House gives these young mothers living skills, financial education, job placement, and mental health support addressing trauma as well as early education services for their children.
